StegaStrip

Stegastrip is moulded from strengthened polypropylene with excellent UV weathering resistance and each strip is 500mm long, 50mm across the base with 60mm high spikes. Stegastrip is a row of uniquely configured flat plastic spikes that are designed for maximum effect against unwanted intruders. The centre hinge design allows it to be fitted neatly to irregular surfaces such as fence tops, coping stones and pipes When fitted back-to-back and secured together with screws, Stegastrip forms a rotating spiked deterrent when used in conjunction with the optional posts. Stegastrip is grooved along the centre line which allows the product to be bent over fence capping or other angled surfaces. Trimming Stegastrip can easily be cut to size using a suitable saw. Tip! when fixing Stegastrip to a standard 6′ fence panel, cut 4 strips along the moulded saw guide to reduce each strip to approximately 450mm (this guide can be found 40mm in from one end) and the off cuts to protect the fence post cappings.

ALWAYS MEASURE CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING ANY CUTS. Gluing* Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust. *Many glues and adhesives do not work with polypropylene, if you do want to use glue, score and rough the base of the strip that is to be glued to the fence.
